Lung Cancer Surgery in India

Chemotherapy: In chemotherapy different drugs and medications are provided as to stop the growth of these cells and even by killing them. As an adjuvant to surgery chemotherapy can be given alone. Sometimes for higher stage of cancer it is given in combination of radiation therapy and surgical therapy. In this therapy one of the most effective drugs given to treat lung cancer is platinum based drugs.


Radiation: In radiation therapy high energy X-rays or some other types of radiation are used to eliminate the rapidly diving cancer cells. It can be given in combination with surgery or chemotherapy as curative therapy or palliative therapy.


These treatments are also given to cure gi cancer which is also a deadly cancer. Early diagnosis of any type of cancer is beneficial as it could be effectively treated.
